SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform diversified accounting related assignments under the direction of a senior consultant, director, principal, or partner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting needs and objectives.
     
  • Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
     
  • Generate financial statements and reports for client review.
     
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes.
     
  • Stay informed about accounting regulations and industry best practices.
     
  • Prepare payroll, property, and sales & use tax returns.
     
  • Meet time budgets and client deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable (1-3 years) public accounting experience or, industry related experience. 
     
  • Understanding of proper accounting processes, procedures, and workflow in daily accounting operations.
     
  • Current knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online and accounting software a plus.
     
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities applicable to a client-facing environment.
     
  • Ability to work effectively within a client-focused team.
     
  • Ability to establish workload priorities and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Required to be in-office (Uptown Dallas) or at local client sites 2-3 days per week, flexible daily schedule.
  • Title and compensation based on applicable experience (Consultant, Senior Consultant etc.)
  • Compensation based on working 2300 total hours annually, inclusive of PTO, holidays, training, etc.
  • Occasional overtime required during spring/fall busy seasons.
 
$75,000 - $100,000 a year
