ABOUT OUR EVENT

SERVING DALLAS FOR 75 YEARS

For decades, LGT has proudly partnered with the construction and real estate industry, supporting the DFW community through timely, high-impact education that helps businesses stay ahead.

This fall at The Clubs of Prestonwood in Dallas, LGT’s construction and real estate accounting team hosts “Concrete Conversations,” a lunch panel built for today’s industry leaders. The discussion dives into the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) and its far-reaching impact on construction and real estate, explores how businesses can strategically prepare for the 2026 tax landscape, and highlights key state and local tax updates that matter for companies working across Texas and beyond.

Designed to be practical and forward-focused, the conversation equips you with real-world tax planning strategies to protect your bottom line and position your business for long-term success. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with peers and LGT's tax team who understand the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of construction and real estate.

WHAT'S THE TOPIC?

The agenda features a focused panel discussion led by LGT’s construction and real estate accounting team.
Our tax partners will unpack how the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) changes key tax rules for contractors and developers, including bonus depreciation, project timing, and interest deductions , and share practical strategies to prepare for 2026 as major tax provisions expire.

Our state and local tax principal will also highlight how these federal changes intersect with Texas and neighboring state tax rules, including what to know before starting projects in new states and how to minimize federal taxes while managing local obligations.
